{"id":149,"date":"2025-09-27T20:57:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-27T20:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dimensions-of-sentera.wasmer.app\/?p=149"},"modified":"2025-10-25T18:14:39","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T18:14:39","slug":"injections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dimensions-of-sentera.wasmer.app\/index.php\/archives\/injections\/","title":{"rendered":"Injections!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"attendees\"><\/span>Attendees<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bron, One Eye, Rya, Vergil, Vyra<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"notes-from-the-session\"><\/span>Notes from the session<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>started early to discuss whether Bron can stream the games.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>decided we would need to do it from the get-go of the game, rather than from the middle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensions-of-sentera.wasmer.app\/index.php\/archives\/shopping-also-gambling-airing-vyras-dirty-laundry-and-travel\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"136\">last session<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"dryska-hold\"><\/span>Dryska hold<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Normal-seeming town\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Other end of the town is a giant steel wall\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>towers 30\u2019 into the air<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>made from overlapping steel plates\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in the storm below, there are Demons, Devils, fiends etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beyond that gate is the only way out of the storm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most of the city is personnel for the wall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We need to go beyond the wall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>lots of guards\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>increasing the closer to the wall we get<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>wall made of plate scale\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>some places use magic to connect them, others not<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shack connected directly to the wall\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>guard post\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>inside a heavily armoured secretary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 heavily armoured guards\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>black steel swords<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each given a 2-page form to fill out\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 weird line\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are to meet with any extraterrestrial entities, causing you mental trauma, they\u2019re not responsible for any therapy\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>plains walker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>given a keychain with an emblem similar to the wall upon turning it in\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>will allow us to return to the town<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outside the wall, the wall seems to be charred.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>attacks have caused the plates to melt together from the heat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nothing on the other side of the wall, just a road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After about walking for about 2 hrs., we see a random hotel door\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Door opens into a long hallway, lit by a lantern on either side\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>slowly opens into a room, like a hotel lobby.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>dragonborn sitting behind the counter, covered in bandages, including over an eye<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monsters don\u2019t come in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vyra : \u201cwhat is this place?\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dragonborn: \u201cThe Lab\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Myrkan asks about getting the Black Goop removed\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>told to talk to the head director; she should be able to remove it.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Head Director is in a meeting; Evelyn Blackflame\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Myrkan\u2019s mother<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dragonborn stands to question about Head Director, leaving a small pool of blood on the seat\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Myrkan wipes down the seat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vergil pulls Bron aside and asks if maybe Vyra should take his last name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dragonborn returns\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>H.D. requests all the weapons are left behind.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Points to a niche where there are weapon-rack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vergil put down his katana, handbag, etc.\u2026.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201chow did you carry all of that? where did you store it?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rest of the party follows suit\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One Eye leaves his cane<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There was a small explosion\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Giant strength + alchemist fire\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>if mixed correctly, one can drink it to get the effect, or throw it to get alchemist fire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decontamination chamber\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>everyone glows as everything is cleaned.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>even small viruses can be cured<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead thru clean, hospital-style hallways, to meeting room 5.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meeting Room 5 is a cottage-style room\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>couches around a table<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ringmaster, older Amethyst dragonborn (Myrkan\u2019s mom), and <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensions-of-sentera.wasmer.app\/index.php\/good-to-know\/awakened-otter\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"71\">Alania<\/a> (otter) all sit around the table\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>they seem to be mid-conversation about an ancient war, 3000 years ago, when the wall was built\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>war fought between the demons living below the storm and those who lived above.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>demons didn\u2019t like that they couldn\u2019t keep pillaging the war<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lots of alchemists during the time and like\/d throwing Alchemist fire down\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mixed with acid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An unknown alchemist at the time, who fought on the front lines with alchemist fires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evelyn asked Myrkan about his adventures.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Myrkan shows the limbs\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cHave you not gotten enough iron?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bihhnea &#8211; Ringmaster\u2019s name\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>says she could remove the goop<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the goop gets removed from Myrkan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>asks about taking the Awakened drug\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it can have disabling affects when going thru a planar gate or planes-walking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ringmaster gave history of Project Magnitude\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dimensions-of-sentera.wasmer.app\/index.php\/good-to-know\/project-magnitude\/development-logs\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"151\">(Available here)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ringmaster cannot tell us her species\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Genre of being\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>not far from Bahamut.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>she will not do genetic engineering\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Asks about the God of Fair play<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ringmaster was told by God of Fair play that redacted parts were not allowed.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grimm Reaper wasn\u2019t happy about it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Father\u2019s name?\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ringmaster can\u2019t tell but can tell where we find it\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in Clerical books, about origins of gods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead to a hospital wing lined with beds\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explained the\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>primary goal &#8211; give extraordinary powers to ordinary creatures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>secondary goal &#8211; extend the lifespan of the average creature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>why people with magical powers?\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>average person finds it overpowering\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>hopes that people with innate powers will be able to handle it\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>we also piqued Ringmaster\u2019s interest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Different people have different places for the injection\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>from inner thigh to underside of tongue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>magic jeweller\u2019s loop will tell Ringmaster where.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>variation of abjuration and conjuration magic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rya goes first, Vergil, Myrkan, Vyra,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vial with purple liquid with swirls of blue\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>apparently tastes like blueberry?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon injection, searing pain throughout the entire body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Results\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rya &#8211; place where neck meets back\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>+1 wisdom for next hour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>temp blind in one eye for next 6 hrs.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>disadvantage on perception<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Normal sight functions as true sight for the next 6 hrs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vergil &#8211; inner thigh\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mind shatters with the urge to follow the Ringmaster in whatever they want (no time limit)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temp hit points equal to con-stat (no time limit)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Random spark power for duration (Eye of the weave) for the next 1 hr<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Myrkan &#8211; jaw muscle\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>regain 1 spell slot or class feature used<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-2 penalty for strength or dexterity based rolls for the next 6 hrs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>resistance to bludgeoning damage for 24 hrs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vyra &#8211; Forearm\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Speak with animal and speak with plants for 5 hrs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Body begins to shutter, and collapses.
